Merlin Golf Club sounds like it should be straight out of magical, mystical drama and take it from us – you will need to display some cunning wizardry to make your way around it in regulation par 67. Admittedly, it is not the longest golf club in the region, spanning only 5227 yards over its eighteen holes, but do not write it off as a result of that.
Instead, be wary of the shorter trickier holes that will have you need to display good course management and think carefully about the club you choose for each shot. Well-looked after and maintained, it is a fine course a sound test of any player’s ability.
